Stephanie Miller formed Select Real Estate by Stephanie Miller, Inc. in 1990 having been an active broker in Southwest Florida since 1980.  Her expertise includes property acquisition, financing, zoning, development and resale.  Stephanie currently is trustee for 25 different partnership groups representing over 130 investors and in excess of $75 million in investment capital. She added Select Asset Management, Inc. with the express goal of maintaining and increasing the value of the investments. To complement her client services, she has added Select Residential Division.

History

Miller has been involved with investor purchases of real estate in Southwest Florida since 1980.  Initial projects were larger tracts in Lee and Charlotte Counties. Over twenty years ago, she moved her attention to the Estero area. At one time she was involved in several thousand acres off Corkscrew Road east of I-75. Prices which were $500 per acre are now quoted by the square foot. “We have always had an eye toward quality development in the Estero area and throughout Southwest Florida,” says Miller, “We truly had a blank palette in the Estero community, which is now being planned with careful consideration through the efforts of the Estero Community Planning Panel.  They have kept developed standards high and secured additional funds for landscaping and road improvements in the community.”

Other Market specialties include Fort Myers and Pine Island. The new market of businesses being attracted to this area are the best of the best.  The Corkscrew Road area is so ideally located and convenient for business that Miller located her office there. “We find satisfaction in helping clients find new business homes and exceptional real estate investments,” explains Miller, “We believe in ownership and investment in real estate as opposed to leasing whenever possible and help people achieve that goal.” 

Select Real Estate owns Select Asset Management, Inc. for property maintenance and financial management and reporting exclusively for “select” investor clients. “Our focus is not just on a sale.  We partner with our investors and once a property is purchased our work continues, as we follow the property though the entire period of ownership through to profitable income and/or sale,” says Miller, “Many of our investors never intend to sell their properties but instead create over time investment quality property ownership destined for future generations, because they have become so extremely valuable under our stewardship.”  

Miller has a commitment to professional and community involvement.  She is a member of Certified Commercial Investment Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors and the Real Estate Investment Society. Miller served as President of the Florida Women’s Political Caucus for 5 years. In addition, she is a past president of the American Cancer Society of Lee County, a Headstart volunteer, and active in assisting AFCAAM in development plans for affordable housing. As a sportswoman, Miller is an avid equestrienne and a member of the Southwest Florida Hunter Jumper Association.   She has a daughter and is married to Greg Toth, who is vice President of Select Real Estate by Stephanie Miller Inc. and a member for 6 years of the Estero Community Planning Panel.
